The Lake Victoria Health Equity and Resilience Initiative (LV-HERI) is our flagship programme to transition our clinic into an accredited Level 3 Primary Healthcare Centre and Last-Mile Health Network serving 40,000 direct beneficiaries annually.
LV-HERI is a modular, multi-donor platform with three integrated pillars and seven specialised sub-programmes. It aligns with Kenya's Primary Health Care Act (2023), Social Health Insurance Act (2023), and Digital Health Act (2023).

THE CHALLENGE
Local health systems face real challenges that call for connected, sustainable solutions.
Non-communicable diseases account for 41% of deaths and 50% of hospital admissions.
There is approximately one doctor for every 10,000 people.
15–20 referrals are turned away each week due to limited capacity.
THREE PILLARS · SEVEN SUB-PROGRAMMES
Each pillar addresses a vital part of delivering reliable, high-quality primary healthcare.
PILLAR 01
Upgrade the clinic into an accredited Level 3 Primary Healthcare Centre with laboratory, imaging, ambulance, and a 10-bed observation ward.
